I’ve got a new album coming out – my 4th as composer/bandleader. ‘All It Was’ is the debut album of my new quartet, featuring three of my very favourite musicians – Rachel Musson on tenor sax, Alexander Hawkins on piano and Will Glaser on drums.
The album will be released on July 18th on West Hill Records, and we also have a launch gig on that date, at the Vortex in London. it’s available already to pre-order and hear the first track, here:

The album feels like a particularly personal project – it’s dedicated to the memory of my Dad, and is mostly compositions written not long after he died. The CD has beautiful artwork by the very talented Hannah Elizabeth Caney.
